Life Services Alternatives (LSA) invited press and community members to LSA’s Run Home 5k event for 2025 — a spirited 5K run / walk or 10k run / walk event at Vasona Lake County Park that champions inclusion, perseverance, and support for adults with developmental disabilities on September 5, 2025.

This event directly benefits LSA’s mission to provide exceptional homes and programs for adults with developmental disabilities in Santa Clara County.
This run / walk fun day is organized by LSA board member and marathoner Ranga Ranganathan, who leads a volunteer training program that prepares individuals with disabilities for race day. This year also marks the event’s first pet-friendly edition, with amenities for leashed four-legged friends —including water stations and treats.
All participants will receive a copy of The Child Who Never Knew, a memoir by Madhu Ranganathan, honoring her daughter Sitara, an LSA resident, and celebrating families navigating the world of special needs care.
