Exhibit at the History Museum of Los Gatos – Evolution of Green: Environmental Activism in the Santa Clara Valley

Forbes Mill Annex - home of the Los Gatos History Museum When’s the last time you dropped by theHistory Museum of Los Gatos? With rotating exhibits every few months, it’s a place to visit often. Right now the museum is hosting “Evolution of Green: Environmental Activism in the Santa Clara Valley” through September 22nd 2013.

What’s it about? “Evolution of Green will share the stories of those individuals and groups whose experiences have shaped the evolving narrative of our environmental story while also engaging visitors in the ongoing need and desire for community-fostered awareness and change.” – per the museum’s website (link below).

Ming Quong Home, historic photo on marketing piece for exhibit at the History Museum of Los GatosAn exhibit on the Ming Quong Home is on display at the History Museum of Los Gatos through July 15, 2012. “Radiant Light: Memories from the Ming Quong Home in Los Gatos” has been ongoing since mid February and some events have already taken place, but two more are still to come in May (info below).

Bear In Mind: The Story of the California Grizzley Exhibit at the Los Gatos History Museum at Forbes Mill

The Los Gatos History Museum at Forbes Mill is now displaying “Bear In Mind: The Story of the California Grizzly” from now through February 27th.   This is a travelling exhibition courtesy of the California Exhibition Resources Alliance.

A reception will be held on Sunday November 21st. (Members only 12 – 1, non members 1 – 4pm.)
